Michael Wayne Campbell, 42 of Brownsville, KY, departed this life on Sunday, January 11, 2015 in Nashville, TN. The Edmonson County native was born on January 2, 1973 to Wayne and Jannie Campbell, and was the loving husband of Melinda Campbell, all of whom survive. He was a sales manager at Gillie Hyde Ford Lincoln in Glasgow, KY and was a faithful member of Oak Grove United Baptist Church. Michael was a gifted musician, a song writer for BMI, and an avid Elvis fan. His talent earned him recent recognition in the Singing News. He inspired all with his strong faith in God; his love for his family; his fervent work ethic and his passion for gospel music. In addition to his wife and parents, he leaves to honor his memory— three sons, Dylan Campbell (Mahogany) of Mammoth Cave, Colin Campbell and Cameron Campbell, both of Brownsville; one brother, Tracy Campbell (Latasha) of Georgetown; one sister, Felicia Graham (Larry) of Brownsville; grandmother, Erma Dean Hogan of Brownsville and a host of family, friends and colleagues. Burial will be in Oak Grove Church Cemetery with Bro. Jason Alexander officiating the services.
