Sue Ellen Jaggers Carnes, Age 75

Sue Ellen Jaggers Carnes, 75, of Mammoth Cave passed away Tuesday March 8, 2022 at her home.

The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and a member of Cove Hollow United Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Leo Jaggers and Ida J. Poteet Jaggers. She was preceded in death by a sister, Clorine Slaughter; and four brothers, Claydean Jaggers, Lennie Jaggers, Albert Jaggers and Dennie Jaggers.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cove Hollow Cemetery. Visitation will take place 3-7 PM Thursday and after 9:00 AM Friday.

Surviving are her husband, Colin Carnes; two sons, Brian Carnes and Mark Allen Carnes both of Mammoth Cave; a brother, Thomas Jaggers (Judy) of Louisville; a sister, Betty Webb of Brownsville; a grandson, Nick Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
