On April 6, 2017, Tom's devoted wife Sharon Osborn Flowers, his son Lee Flowers, daughter Kristy Flowers and grandson Joshua were by his side as he passed peacefully from their arms into our Lord's.
He had fought and won a courageous battle with lymphoma. He fought valiantly like a tough MARINE would. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War Era. Tom was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Elizabeth Flowers and his son, Thomas Charles, "Butch" Flowers II. Two brothers , James Patterson and Richard Lee Patterson two sisters Peggy Miller and Florence Louise Huard. He leaves to cherish his memories ....loving wife Sharon, their son Richard Lee Flowers and daughter Kristen Laura Flowers. Daughter Denise Flowers. Thirteen grandchildren that he adored, Amanda, Crystal, Jessica, Dalton, Nathan, Joshman, Adam, Jason, Chelsea, Kasee, Brian and Bradley, Tonya. Two step sons, Victor M and Christopher B Anderson. Eleven Great Grand children. Tom is survived by his brothers Robert M Patterson and Charles V flowers. Sisters Della Stockton, Kathy Patterson and Delores Hamilton. Tom had moved back to Kentucky to reunite and complete his family again. This was his greatest pleasure and what he was most thankful for in life. No matter where he was, his love for the water was intense, his ability to catch fish was amazing. He would want everyone to laugh, giggle and remember those fishing stories. He has so many with countless family and friends. "Hey... Watch this!" A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
