Trenton Sowders, 59, of Park City passed away peacefully with family and friends by his side at his home at 1:30 AM July 30, 2022.
The Edmonson County native was an HVAC technician for R & R Heating and Air Conditioning, a member of Rocky Hill Fire Dept. and a member of Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late George H. “Sam” Sowders and Linda Nash Sowders of Roundhill, who survives. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday and 10:00 AM-8:00 PM Friday at Gravil Funeral Home and after 10:00 AM Saturday at the church. Surviving are his wife, Donna Lindsey Sowders; three children, April Garrett of Park City, T.J. Sowders (Amanda) of Brownsville and Matthew Sowders (Jessica) of Wingfield; six brothers, Mike “Bosky” Sowders, Gary “Red” Sowders, David Sowders and Jeff Sowders all of Roundhill, Ricky Sowders (Cindy) of Bowling Green and Timmy Sowders (Patricia) of Bee Spring; 14 grandchildren, Hunter Garrettt, Blake Garrett, Courtney Garrett, Zander Garrett, Carson Sowders, Callie Sowders, Camlyn Sowders, Case Sowders, Gaige Brooks, Bryer Brooks, Slade Brooks, Emma Sanders, Ally Sanders, Jaxon Sanders; a bonus grandchild, Morgan Compton; and several nieces and nephews.
