​Wally Wolfe, age 69

​Wally Wolfe, age 69, of Roundhill, departed this life on Monday, March 23, 2026 at his residence. The Louisville, KY native was born on October 11, 1956 to the late James Wallace Wolfe, Sr. and Zana Hopper Wolfe.

Wally proudly owned Hales Tree Service, where his strong work ethic and dedication were evident to all who knew him. He was a member of Otter Gap Missionary Baptist Church, where he found spiritual strength. Wally had a fondness for collecting unique memorabilia, always drawn to items with a story to tell—much like his own. In his quieter moments, he could often be found enjoying a good cigar, taking time to relax and reflect on life he so dearly cherished.

He leaves to honor his memory— his children, Amberly Buckson (Kevin) of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Scott Wolfe of Nashville, TN and J.W. Wolfe (Erica) of Roundhill, KY; grandchildren, Malachi Borders, Isaiah Borders, Abram Wolfe and Hudson Wolfe, and siblings, Michael Wolfe (Rita) of Brownsville, Sheila Wolfe of Bowling Green and David Wolfe (Crystal) of Chalybeate. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Selena Wolfe.

The interment will be in Mt. Zion United Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to: Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund.
