Letter To Editor From Student In Support Of Tommy Hodges

Dear Editor,

As a student of Edmonson County High School, I feel Mr. Tommy Hodges has our best interest at heart. I support Mr. Hodges because he always supports his students. He's interested in our opinions even if it means a possible change in the way we do things.

The recent attention to our school, I feel has reflected negatively on Mr. Hodges. I want to address his character and help people outside our school understand who this man is and what he stands for. He is a friend to his students. He supports all areas of academics and extra curricular activities. Always on the floor after a basketball game to high five us-win or lose.

Mr. Tommy Hodges is an honorable man, he is fair and just. I feel Edmonson County High School is a safer place because he is our leader, always thinking of OUR best interest.

I agree 150%, Mr. Hodges has always gone above and beyond for my children and I've watched him do the same for others! I have picked my child up from practice at 6:30 and he has still been there. He is so involved and invested and I'm proud of the man that he is and what he stands for. Couldn't ask for a better leader for our school!

Abby, we are so proud of you for standing up for Mr. Hodges in such a mature and well written manner. While you told us all of his true character and integrity, you demonstrated your own. Way to go kiddo.

Abby what a great way to step up. I honestly feel humiliated and sorry for our school system and Mr. Hodges. Students like you are what makes his job worth it.
