You get the turkey from the grocery store.  Then you cook it in a pot. You cook it on the grill for 8 minutes.  Then you put salt on it. Then it’s ready to eat.

David Wilson
The turkey comes from, let me think...The Dollar Store.  You usually put salt on it. You put it in the microwave for about 15 minutes.  Then it’s ready.

Mollie Spainhoward
You get the turkey from the woods.  You hunt it like my daddy does. You have to cook it in a pot on the stove.  You cook it for six. You have to dip it in Ketchup when you eat it.

Blake Duvall
I shoot a turkey.  You put it in an oven---it is super, duper, duper hot.  You cook it for 20 hours. You put sauce on it, hot sauce.  I don’t like hot sauce because it doesn’t taste good. Then I’m done.

Beralis Chacon
You get a turkey from Mom.  Then you cook it in the oven for 4.  You eat it with salt and pepper.

Chris Church
You get a turkey from a farm.  You keep it outside for a while.  Then you pick one and you bake him.  You put them in the oven, and then cut them up and then you just let it cool down and then you eat it.

Maddie Merryman
Well buy it from Wal-Mart, bring it home and put sauce on it.  Hot sauce. Put just a little bit of salt on it and pepper, and then I put it in the oven.  Its really hot, and it cooks for about 20 minutes and 20 hours. You get it out of the oven and sit it on the table and let it cool off and then we just eat it.

Caiden Davis
Well we get in the woods and you shoot the turkey.  You could shoot it with a gun or a bow--either one. Um so you pull the feathers off and then you clean it and then you put it in the oven.  You put salt on it while you are cooking it. You probably cook it for 10 hours or 8 hours. When it comes out of the oven, its ready to eat.  You can put ketchup on it and that would taste good.

Mason Pardue
Well, my dad actually kills it.  He has a rifle, and me and my dad have been practicing.  I have been shooting right, and I even shot through the bottle cap.  Anyway, he has these little red things that puts in the turkey. I think it’s called a juicer.  We really have to cook it--I don’t know if it’s in the oven or what. We actually take off the legs.  We save those to have some food for tomorrow. But we slice the body to eat. We actually just eat it, we don’t really put anything on it.

Alaina Deweese
You get it from the woods.  You put it in the oven. Cook it for 20.  Put salt and pepper on it. Then you’re done.

Easton Summers
You could get a turkey at the Dollar Store.  You would cut it all up or something and put it in the oven or on the stove.  That’s probably all I know to do.

Alayna Roof
You get a turkey from the Dollar Store.  You put salt on it, and cook and I would cook mine in the stove.  For twenty minutes. You can put it like on the plate and let it cool if it’s hot.

Hadley Garmon
I don’t cook turkeys because Nana she cooks it for us, and I don’t cook it.  If I did cook it I’d cook it like a regular ham. I’d put salt on it and uh, what’s it called?  Pepper. I’d freeze it in the fridgerator’, then I’d cook it in the oven and the microwave. You get it out of the oven at 10:30.  I’m gonna bring it to Nana’s (you can just say Kim, that’s alright). When I bring it to Nana’s my Nana and Papa will eat it.

Jack Logsdon
First you buy it at Wal Mart.  You got to put it in the microwave for 10 minutes.  Then you eat it.

Delilah Billhartz
You can get from Wal-Mart.  Then you can put some spices on it and salt and pepper.  Hmm...then you pick the feathers off and put it in the oven for probably 16 minutes or 20 and then you eat it.  I always use ketchup to dip mine in because it’s yummy.

Liam White
You go hunt for it and you shoot it.  My Poppy is a bow man, so I’m a bow man.  You bring home, then you cook it. You put it in the oven for just a little while.  I could use ranch to dip it in.

Sadie Bolton
You kill and you cut off the feathers.  Then you put it in the oven. We don’t want it to get super hot so we leave it in there for a while.  We set a timer. When the timer goes off we take it out. Then we’re done.

Gavin Creek
I probably go kill it down by the creek with a gun.  Ya gotta skin it and cook em up for forty minutes.

John Hogan
You get it at the store---I feel like WalMart.  You get stuff and cook it. I really feel like maybe baking soda, milk, sugar, eggs, and uh...one more thing...water.  You cook it on your stove then you eat it.

Lilly Jenkins
You get the turkey from the woods.  You pick it up and then you cut the turkey feathers off of it.  Then you cook it. You cook it for two hours in your oven. You get it out of the oven and put seasoning on it.  You use pepper and salt, and I don’t know what the other seasoning is called. Then you cut it and you eat it.
