For the first time in many years they attended the regional KAPOS Middle School Cheer Competition in November and presented a flawless performance. They also attended the Snowball Classic Cheer Competition this last Saturday (Jan. 30) at Bowling Green High School.  The ECMS cheer team performs at the KAPOS Regional Cheer Competition. "Right before all the snow hit we lost our main flyer due to injury," said a parent/volunteer. "When they were finally able to come back to school they only had 3 DAYS to come up with a new routine(dance/cheer placement and stunts) plus the loss of another cheerleader due to a family death. They managed to pull a great routine together. " They went on to perform at the Snowball Competition and won 1st Place for the Middle School CoED squad.  The team performs at the Snowball Classic Cheer Competition.  ECHS Athletic Director Kyle Pierce has announced that the girls and boys basketball games in Metcalfe County tonight have been cancelled due to the threat of severe weather. No word yet on when the games will be made up.
The next game will be Friday at Butler County and will be a girl/boy doubleheader. Tip is scheduled for 6pm. |
