Edmonson County Conservation District Local Cost Share Program 26-27:
The purpose of this program is to assist Edmonson County landowners by providing cost share for the following conservation practices:
- COVER CROP
- HEAVY USE AREAS (gate openings, barn access areas, winter-feeding areas)
- PASTURE AND HAY SEEDING
- LIME
- Pasture and Hayland Weed Management ($10 per acre, up to 65 acres)
The Edmonson County Extension District Board will meet Monday, August 24, 2026, at 6:00 pm at the Extension Office at 116 Mohawk Street, Brownsville, KY 42210.
The Edmonson County High School Class of 1986 will have its 40-year reunion on August 29, 2026 at ECHS (6 P.M.). Food and drinks will be provided. Donations will be accepted to offset the cost of the food and to help establish a flower fund. Our high school teachers are also welcome to attend. Light Cemetery in Rhoda near Rabbit Point is welcoming any and all donations for the mowing, upkeep, and maintenance of the cemetery. Please contact Randy Parsley at 270-792-1709, 3019 Veterans Memorial Highway, Brownsville KY 42210 to make a donation. You may also donate to the Light Cemetery Fund at any Bank of Edmonson County branch location.
Our Neighbor's Table food pantry, from the Community Church at Cedar Springs, is open Monday-Wednesday-Saturday 10am-2pm and Wednesday 4-6. Call (270)597-6356 for appointment outside hours.

Holly Springs Cemetery is asking for donations to better upkeep and maintain the cemetery.
