A warm front lifting north of the area today will turn winds out of the south. After a cool start in the 30s, these winds will coincide with rays of sunshine to take highs near 60˚. Scattered showers/storms will arrive late tonight, before becoming widespread throughout our Saturday with a passing cold front. We’ll need to keep tabs on Saturday afternoon, when our threat for strong/severe storms will peak. Behind the front, winds will turn out of the west, increasing between 35-45 mph. This will result in a major cool down come Sunday.
