Florine Lindsey, age 91

Florine Lindsey, age 91 of Pine Grove, peacefully departed this life on Thursday, September 14 at her residence.  The Edmonson County native was born on November 11, 1931 to the late Jim and Bertha O. Miller.  She married to Roger Ruben Lindsey, who also preceded her in death. 

Florine worked with her hands to provide for her families’ needs.  She loved to fish and work puzzles, but her greatest joy was taking care of her family.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove “Miller Hill” United Baptist Church. 

She leaves to honor her memory— her children, Robert Lindsey of Pine Grove, Diana Key of Pine Grove, and Betty Anne Hawks of Brownsville; grandchildren, Keith Lindsey (Andrea), Ray Key (Alisha), Lee Key (Tonya), Kevin Lindsey (Suzanne), Tyler Moon, Joey Moon (Whitney) and Courtney Moon (Matt); great-grandchildren, Michael Wright, David Key, Samantha Moore, Ashley Key, Cody Daniels, Justin Lindsey, Aubrey Wright, Tiffany Key, Matt Key, Brittany Smith, Rayleigh and Braxton Moon and great-great grandchildren, Sylas, Oliver, Elijah,  Kaiden, Remi, Lakelynn, Porter and Whitleigh.  She was also preceded in death by her children, Betty Jean Lindsey, Thomas R. Lindsey, and Eddie Dean Lindsey.

Interment will be in Pine Grove Church Cemetery.
