Linda Gail Miller, 71 of Leitchfield, KY passed away on October 15, 2023. Linda was born on August 6, 1952 in Brownsville, KY. She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Sister and Friend.
Her husband, Greg Miller, survives her, as well as her three sons David Edwin Miller, Michael Joseph Miller and Kyle Adam Stanton, her two daughters Sarah Turner and Pristina Davis. Linda is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, her brother, Ronnie Johnson (Darla), and two sisters, Patsy Farris and Joyce Brown (Rick). She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Bertha Mae Johnson, one brother Donald Wayne Johnson and a daughter, Rebecca Miller. Linda professed her faith in Christ and was saved at a young age at South Union General Baptist Church, were she remained a member. After going to Springview Nursing Home and Rehab, Linda read her Bible daily and loved to talk about the Lord. Linda was a hard worker all of her life until her health declined. She was the oldest of four children and always worked hard when she was at home, whether it be helping with the garden, milking cows on the dairy farm or cooking the family meals while her parents were working in the crops or milking cows on the dairy farm. Linda was known for her intelligence and sweet nature. She had a passion for helping others and dedicated her career to the medical field. Linda started her journey in the medical field at a young age at Twin Lakes Regional Hospital. She worked there for many years until she moved to Shepherdsville, KY and started working as a medical assistant for Dr. Bruer, before transitioning and becoming a lab technician. Her dedication and passion touched the lives of many patients throughout her career. Outside of work, Linda found joy in her hobbies. She had a talent for quilting and crocheting. Linda made friends with ease and loved conversation with everyone. Linda chose to be an organ donor. If she were able to save one life, it would have pleased her. She dedicated a lot of her life to the medical field and helping others. There will be a memorial service planned later. Linda’s family meant the world to her. She will be missed greatly.
