Necia Joyce Jaggers Brooks, 84

Necia Joyce Jaggers Brooks, 84, of Louisville passed away at 9:32 AM Aug. 16, 2023 at Baptist Health in Louisville.
 
The Edmonson County native was a production line worker for General Electric and a member of Cove Hollow United Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Marvin Thomas Jaggers and Sylvia Poteet Jaggers. She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Brooks; a sister, Darlene Jaggers Childress; three grandsons, Brandon Brooks, Jeremy Shelton and Jason Shelton; and a great granddaughter, Willow Necia Shelton.
 
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cove Hollow Cemetery. Visitation will take place 2-7 PM Saturday and after 9:00 AM Sunday.
 
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Brooks and Lisa Brooks both of Louisville; three brothers, Billy Jaggers (Ann) of Louisville, Jerry Jaggers of Brownsville and Freddie Jaggers (Truley) of Sweeden; five sisters, Ruth Weible (Charlie) and Shirley Trimble both of Mt. Washington, Deloris Garrett (C.L.) of Louisville, Mary Lewis (Art) of Shepherdsville and Marcia Thompson of Mammoth Cave; eight grandchildren, Kenny Brooks, Korey Brooks (Courtney), Thomas Brooks (Julie), Jeff Brooks, Jessica Hildenbradt (Jake), Kristy Shelton, Michael Shelton and Sean Shelton (Jenna); 17 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
