Thelma Lewis, age 95, of Park City, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022 at her residence. The Barren County native was born on April 16, 1927 to the late Nathan and Jewell Emerson Williams. She was married to Lethel “Jack” Lewis, who also preceded her in death.Thelma was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
She leaves to honor her memory— her daughter, Patsy “Pat” Matthews (Lonnie) of Temple Hill; granddaughters, Heather Wilson (Jeff) of Park City and Andrea Smith of Glasgow; great-grandchildren, Laura Wilson, Jackson Smith, Jacob Wilson, Aiden Smith and Austin Smith; step grandchildren, Randy Matthews (Kim) and Ryan Matthews (April); step great-grandchildren, Tres Matthews, Preston Matthews, Brock Billingsley and Kimber Matthews; sisters-in-law, Viola Williams and Helen Nichols, along with several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Monroe, Garnett and J.R. Williams and a step grandchild, Rene Matthews. The family would like to especially acknowledge T.J. Sampson Hospice Program and caregiver, Linda Thomas, for their exceptional care. Memorial contributions can be made to: T.J. Samson Hospice, 1301 N.
