Wanda Alexander Minton, 88 of Brownsville, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 in Bowling Green, KY. She was a retired secretary and bookkeeper for the Edmonson County Board of Education and a member of Pleasant Union United Baptist Church. The Edmonson County native was born March 17, 1926 to the late Chester Arthur Alexander and Vuna Lindsey Alexander. She was the devoted wife of the late James Cecil Minton. She is survived by a son, Bro. Richard Minton and his wife Juanita of Chalybeate; two daughters, Cecilia Steen and her husband Bob and Mary Alice Cole and her husband Joe both of Brownsville; four grandchildren, Teresa McClintic and her husband Mike, Angela Dennison and her husband Darren, Chad Minton and his wife Kandi and Scott Cole and his wife Leslie; two step grandchildren, Lauren Steen and LeaTriece Pozce; seven great-grandchildren, Jena and Jonah Brooks, Logan and Lilli Minton, Breanna and Karina Dennison and Carson Cole; one niece, Dorothy Yokley and her husband Wendell and one nephew, James E. Reed. Interment will be in the Alexander Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Patton and Bro. Jason Alexander officiating the services.
