Deborah “Debbie” Stice, 62, of Bowling Green passed peacefully at her home Sunday, July 24th, 2022.
The Bowling Green, Kentucky native was the daughter of the late Lorene Wilson Sanders and Carlos Sanders. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by two brothers Ronnie and Rick, and sister Teresa. Debbie recently retired as a lab technician at Essity after 30 plus years of dedicated service. She was a member of Hillview Heights Church. Debbie was a very special woman whose passing leaves a hole in everyone’s life that knew her. She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She worked hard and loved even harder. She is survived by her children Jeremy Stice (Kayla) of Roswell, GA and Andrea Stice of Bowling Green, KY, grandchildren Tristen, Waylon, and Ryta, a brother Lester Sanders (Michelle), sisters Sue Suddarth (Jimmy), Beverly Taylor, Melinda Baker (Mike), Judy Smith, Donna Sanders, sister-in-law Myra Sanders, and brother-in-law Tom Dencklau, as well as many friends. A celebration of life will be held at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel in Bowling Green on Saturday, August 6th at 11:00 am with visitation taking place between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. Milton was a former subcontractor for Pike Electric and P and E Electric. He was a member of Christian Home General Baptist Church. The Gainesville, Georgia native was born on December 25, 1947 to the late Dude and Ruby Vago Roberts. She was married to her best friend and husband of thirty-two years, Tim Houchin, who survives.
Kitty retired as a software analyst for Cedar-Crestone. She had a contagious personality, never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her. Besides her husband, Tim, she is survived by her brother, Doug Roberts of Smyrna, GA; her sister, Gayle Roberts Robinson (Steve) of Lake of the Pines, TX; her beloved fur baby, Hambone, and several close friends that she considered family. At her request, no visitation or services are scheduled. Linda Webb, 80, of Brownsville passed away at 12:21 AM July 19, 2022 at her home.
The Edmonson County native was a homemaker. She was a daughter of the late Luther James and Cordia Jaggers James and the wife of the late Charles Ray Webb. She was preceded in death by a son, Tim Webb and two brothers, Bobby James and Billy Joe James. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Brownsville General Baptist Church, where she was a member for nearly 70 years, with burial to follow in Brownsville Cemetery. Our mother, Jacqueline May Ainsworth, born May 6, 1933 took her last breath on Wednesday morning, July 13, 2022. In her 89 years on this earth, she became a mother to 7 children, grandma to 13 grandchildren, and great gram to 11 great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was preceded in death by her parents John Howard Michale and Erma (Mendell) Michael, her three daughters Joyce Meeker, Carol Monaco, and Theresa Leber, her two sisters Betty Lou Gaynor and Judyth Nutter and one brother David Michael.
Jackie was a retired cook from Downey Christian School where she fed both the bellies and souls of students and staff. Mrs. A was always good for a laugh or bit of advice. Mom would say she woke up each morning with a new song in her heart and loved singing fun and silly songs. She loved movies and romance, gift-giving and holidays. She was quite the fashionable lady, always with her fully matching outfits, even when it was just a nightgown and bathrobe. Jackie loved making people laugh and touched many lives in her time with us. She will be sorely missed by the four children she leaves behind, the family she created and the friends she made. She loved Jesus, prepared herself for Him and was ready to be with Him and her family in Heaven. Survivors include her two sons Michael Monaco and Thomas Monaco and two daughters Gina Salzman (David) and Cheryl Fiorini (Emil). One brother John Howard Michael (Rose Marie) and thirteen precious grandchildren Rachel, Michael, Jacqueline, Christopher, Anthony, Danielle, Caitlyn, Gregory, Nicholas, Mandee, Justin, Anthony and Angelo. Eleven precious great-grandchildren Alissa, Raelynn, Ava, Ellie, Samuel, Daniel, Hazel, Allie, Lexi, Cree and Jax. Also several nieces and nephews also survive. The family chose cremation. Larry A. Constant, age 77, of Cave City passed away on July 12, 2022 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Barren County native was born on August 21, 1944 to the late Jim Constant and the late Vera Cobb Vincent. He was married to his devoted wife of fifty-eight years, Shirley Goodhue Constant, who survives.
Larry was saved in 1984 at Little Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where he remained a member, deacon, and assistant Sunday school teacher until his passing. He retired after thirty-two years as a machine operator for Mallory Company, and also worked at EATON Corporation and Dollar General. Larry was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Besides his wife, he leaves to honor his memory—his son, Craig Constant (Sherry) of Cave City; four grandchildren, Zachary Constant (Jenny), Abigail Kerley (Stuart), Jordan Constant and Emma Constant; three great-grandchildren, Kaylee Constant, Whitley Constant and Emmitt Kerley; daughter-in-law, Nikki Constant; sister, Brenda Wallace (Molten); two nephews, Gary Constant and Justin Wallace and one niece, Pam Wallace. The Edmonson County native was born on June 14, 1947 to the late Noah Everett Reed, Sr. and Maud Johnson Reed. He was married to his best friend and help mate of fifty-five years, Beverly Reed, who survives.
N.E. was a public servant and fulfilled many roles in his community and church. He was elected as the Edmonson County Judge Executive in 1993, and retired from office in 2014, after twenty-one years of service. During this time, he developed the Edmonson County Parks and Recreation and the Edmonson County Industrial Authority. He worked diligently to bring new industries into the county; to create economic development and to improve our roadways and basic infrastructure. N.E. currently served as a director for the Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, Edmonson County Water District, Tennessee Valley Authority and was a former director for Barren River Area Development District, as well as numerous other civic organizations. He was also a member of McLure & Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge #355 F&AM, the Edmonson County Lions Club, and Edmonson County Saddle Club. The most important obligation to N.E. was his commitment to his church and family. He was a faithful and devoted member of Oak Grove United Baptist Church, where he was ordained as a deacon over forty years ago, and had previously served as song leader and church clerk. Besides his wife, Beverly, he leaves to honor his memory— two children, Michael Reed (Julie) and Tonya White (Jimmy) all of Brownsville; seven grandchildren, Krys Murley (Ryan), Hannah Dossey (Steven), Emma, Ian and Eli White and Luke and Jacob Reed; four great-grandchildren, Reed and Rebekah Faye Murley and Everett Samuel and Vivi Claire Dossey, along with a multitude of friends and extended family members whom he cherished. The Leitchfield native was a homemaker and a graduate of Edmonson County High Schoool. At the age of 12 she was saved at Green Meadows United Baptist Church. Lexus was a loving mother, daughter and sister. Lexus was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Edna Cook and paternal grandfather Lemuel Massey. Donald J. “Donnie” Wahman, age 73 of Louisville, peacefully departed this life with his family by his side on Friday, July 1, 2022. The Anderson, Indiana native was born on September 15, 1948 to the late Bernard and Dorothy Ripberger Wahman. He was married to his best friend and devoted wife of forty-eight years, Kathy Whalin Wahman, who survives.
Donnie retired after thirty-two years as a tool and die maker with Stauble Machine and Tool Company. He was a member of Zion United Baptist Church, and a former member of Robinson-Plumb Lodge #266 F&AM. Donnie had a heart of gold, and always wore a smile. In addition to his wife, Kathy, he leaves to honor his memory— two sons, Jeremy Wahman (Theresa) and Joseph Wahman, all of Louisville; two brothers, John Wahman (Linda) of Phoenix, AZ and Frank Wahman (Jan) of Indianapolis; one sister, Kathy Carroll, North Canton, OH and his adored grand pups, Bella and Lucy. She was a retired factory worker of AMF Voit. She attended Red Hill General Baptist Church and Hubsfield Holiness Church at a young age. Ruby was a housewife and farmer. She was a member of Cedar Hill United Baptist Church and the Eastern Star. The Hart County native was born on September 9, 1939 to the late William Lawrence and Leona Sturgeon Wilkerson. He was married to his devoted wife and help mate of sixty –three years, Ruby Wells Wilkerson, who survives.
Tom was a farmer and served Edmonson County Fiscal Court for twenty-five years as district 3 magistrate. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge #355 F&AM and Cedar Hill United Baptist Church. Besides his wife, he leaves to honor his memory-- two daughters, Donna Brooks and Doris Lindsey (Freddie) all of Cedar Springs; seven grandchildren, Clayton Wilkerson (Ashley), Jessica Simpson (Devin), Kent Brooks (Shaina), William Wilkerson (Gabby), Austin Lindsey (Savannah), Anthony Lindsey (Mattie) and Savannah Jean Lindsey; eleven great-grandchildren and three siblings, Paul Wilkerson of Merry Oaks, Richard Wilkerson (Ann) of Munfordville and Becky Jo Hester (Tommy) of Cub Run. He was also preceded in death by his son, Dale Wilkerson, granddaughter, Tonya Sue Geron, son-in-law, Willie Roy Brooks and two siblings, Woodson Ray Wilkerson and Linda Lee Wilkerson. Perry, 72, of Mammoth Cave passed away June 6, 2022 at her home with loved ones by her side.
The Jefferson County native was a production worker at G.E., a lifetime member of Amvets Post #3 and a Kentucky Colonel. She was a daughter of the late Lloyd Atkinson and Mildred Horn Atkinson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM (EDT) Friday at Advantage Funeral Home Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Hwy. in Louisville. Visitation will also take place at Advantage Funeral Home from 2-8 PM (EDT) Thursday. Gravil Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. Surviving are her husband, Ronald F. Richards, age 84, of Bowling Green passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 at his residence. The Edmonson County native was born on September 24, 1937 to late Autrey L. and Donna Mayrine Lindsey Richards. He was married to Glenna Faye Richards, who survives.
Larry served in the United States Navy and was a former construction worker for Stewart-Richey and Division 9 Finishes. Later on, he opened his own company, Richards Acoustical. He enjoyed singing and sang in several gospel quartets with his family. Larry was also know for making life-sized animal figures out of Dryvit for his grandchildren. He was a member of Fairview United Baptist Church. Besides his wife, he leaves to honor his memory— three sons, Billy Richards and Bobby Richards both of Bowling Green, and Bryan Richards (Leanne) of Smiths Grove; six grandchildren, Ashley Meredith (John), Jennifer Vincent (Kyle), Adam Richards (Stephanie), Josh Richards (Tensley), Lauren Richards and Luke Richards; eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, Buford Richards, Overt Richards, Jimmie Richards (Kathy) and Tommie Richards (Lola); one sister, Oneda Simpson (Jerry). He was preceded in death by his siblings Jerry Richards and Dottie Minton. Interment will be in the Fairview Church Cemetery. The Edmonson County native was born on April 24, 1942 to the late Reverend Charlie and Millie Highbaugh Sanders. He was married to Barbara Torralba Sanders, who survives.
Billy was a United States Air Force career veteran, where he retired as Master Sergeant. After retirement, he went on to work for the Civil Service as a logistics plan specialist at Patrick Air Force Base Florida, and at the Edmonson County Corps of Engineers at Nolin Lake. He was a member of Hill Grove Missionary Baptist Church and Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge #355 F&AM. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and raising a garden. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, he leaves to honor his memory— three children, Reagan Jefferies (Benjamin) of Melbourne, FL, Jennifer Bean (Robert) of Mammoth Cave and Heath Sanders (Ashley) of Melbourne, FL; twelve grandchildren, Christina Patterson, Cailey Bean, Corey Bean, Alyssa Ware (William), Austin Masone, Kyle Sanders, Emily Sanders, Cole Pierce, Hunter Pierce, Zack Pierce, Nick Jefferies and Matt Jefferies; two great-grandchildren, James Patterson and Kendall Ware; three siblings, Betty Childress (Mike) of Munfordville, Cleo Brown (Bill) of Mammoth Cave and Oda Sanders (Rosalee) of Pig and a sister-in-law, Sandra Torralba. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Cora S. Turner, Daphna Sanders, Barbara Watt, Christine Gipson, Delta Sanders, Josie Taylor, Clarence Sanders, Japath Sanders and Duel Sanders.
