Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Field Representative Mark E. Welch read a letter to Fiscal Court from Commissioner Gray Tomblin announcing Edmonson County will be receiving $523,053 from Governor Matt Bevin's Discretionary Funds for resurfacing work.
$181,655 will go towards concrete patching on the curb, railing and sidewalk of the North Main St. Bridge.
The following roads will also be receiving resurfacing work:

2.9 miles of Mt. Zion Church Rd. -$119,977
1.6 miles Salem Church Rd. - $58,688
1.8 miles of Long Fall Rd. -$66,594
