Edmonson Voice Staff Report The Edmonson County Sheriff's Office responded to a call of a domestic incident in Wingfield around 10am on Friday, May 6th, 2016. Officials said while en route to the scene, they received another call that stated one person had left the scene but gave a vehicle description. Deputies soon found a vehicle in the area that matched the description and conducted a traffic stop at Saling's Country Store on Wingfield Church Road. Officials reported that the driver, Timmie J. Hooten, 30, of Bowling Green was driving the vehicle with cancelled registration plates, due to failure to maintain vehicle insurance. Further investigation lead to the discovery of Hooten's current suspended driver's license, as well as an active arrest warrant out of Butler County for a Criminal Mischief charge. After Hooten was arrested, officers searched the vehicle and found a meth pipe containing suspected meth and meth residue.
