Mammoth Cave National Park has announced that on March 28, the Green River ferry will be closed all day to facilitate moving one ferryboat out of the river and replacing it with the rehabbed ferryboat.
According to the statement from the park, once it is in place, the Coast Guard will complete its inspection of the new boat.
Ferry service is scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m. on March 29, 2016.
The old boat will be moved to dry dock for future renovation.
