A new group of county officials was sworn in by the Honorable Judge Ronnie Dortch in the Edmonson County District courtroom earlier today. Each office holder will officially assume their duties at midnight on Monday, January 5, 2015. Above: (L-R) County Attorney J.B. Hines, Sheriff Shane Doyle, County Clerk Kevin Alexander, Judge Executive Wil Cannon, Jailer Hank Vincent, Constable Tim Skees, and Coroner Michael Alexander. Four county offices will have newly elected men in charge, including County Attorney J.B. Hines, Sheriff Shane Doyle, County Clerk Kevin Alexander, and Judge Executive Wil Cannon. Tim Skees was sworn in as Constable. The courtroom was standing room only as friends and family members of each official were present at the ceremony. Hank Vincent (Jailer) and Michael Alexander (Coroner) were each re-elected to their offices. Above: All county law enforcement officers were also required to take their oath for the upcoming term. This included the Sheriff, deputies, special deputies, detectives and courtroom officers.
