Open Letter Regarding Fire Hydrants

To the Residents of Oak Grove/Mohawk Community:

One month ago, a request was made to help raise money to purchase and install a new fire hydrant for the community. I am very happy to report that this community came together, supported this project, and was able to raise the needed funds for not one, but for two hydrants in this community.

​At this time, the appropriate forms have been signed and one hydrant has already been ordered. It should be installed at the entrance of NE Reed Road. The second hydrant will be ordered and installed on Oak Grove Church Road.

I am very proud of the community and of the responses that I received while going door to door. Thank you all for your generosity and support.
