Emergency workers responded to the third accident call today in the county at a scene of a rollover crash that sent a Brownsville woman to the hospital.
First responders were dispatched to the 7500 block of Brownsville Road (HWY 259) where a 2015 Jeep Compass, driven by Britney Maston, (27) of Brownsville had overturned.
According to the Edmonson County Sheriff's Office, Maston was headed northwest on HWY 259 when for an unknown reason, her vehicle exited the left side of the roadway. The vehicle traveled down the left ditch line of the road, hitting a mailbox and the drainage tile of a concrete driveway. The car overturned and landed upright, facing the opposite direction, according to authorities.
Maston was reportedly wearing her seat belt and multiple airbags deployed in the vehicle.
She was transported to the Medical Center in Bowling Green by Edmonson EMS for non-life threatening injuries.
Emergency workers were also dispatched to two other accidents today; one on Noah Bledsoe Road this morning and another on Oak Hill Road a few hours later.
In addition to EMS and the Sheriff's Office, the Chalybeate Fire Department and Edmonson County Emergency Management responded to the scene.
