Sheriff-Elect Shane Doyle has just completed 54 hours of new and continued training at the annual Kentucky Sheriff's Association Conference held in Bowling Green. Each year, the conference provides in-service training for all Kentucky Sheriffs, Deputies and other law enforcement agencies across the Commonwealth.
Topics ranged from tax and fee collection, personnel laws, and liability to domestic terrorism, search and seizure, and surveillance. Over 200 sheriffs, deputies, and office staff from Kentucky were in attendance. Doyle will take office on January 2, 2014.
