WRECC Crews Working On Power Outages In EC, Jones/Gravil Tax Closed

Several Edmonson County residents are still without power this morning after last night's severe weather. Jones and Gravil Tax Service in Bee Spring has closed today due to lack of power.

WRECC crews worked around the clock and are active today with hopes of restoring power as soon as possible.

The National Weather Service will be evaluating the storm from last night sometime today. We are currently working with their staff as they assess the damage.

A special thank you to all the people working on the Elec. power
in the Bee Spring area. You guys work in all kind of weather no matter what to get power going. Our families appreciate all you do.
Thanks to anyone who has helped in any way to get things cleaned
up and roads passable.

I just wanted thank all the awesome workers at WRECC for the hard work they put in during this event. Over 12 poles down and electricity back on in less than 24 hrs. THANKS that is amazing!
