The annual Veterans Day Luncheon is scheduled for November 11th at the Heritage Centre in Brownsville. The annual event, which is organized by the local DAV Auxiliary, is sponsored this year by Patton Funeral Home. Thanks to their sponsorship, this free lunch will be provided to all veterans and their family members, which includes turkey, dressing, and sides, plus a drink and dessert. Meals will also be provided to the community at no cost, thanks to the generous sponsorship by Patton Funeral Home. The event is presented by the Edmonson County Chamber of Commerce. Chamber President Darren Doyle said the Chamber is once again proud to help with the event. "First, we want to recognize the ladies at the DAV Auxiliary for their dedication to this annual event over the years," he said. "They are the ones responsible for seeing that this happens.
