Associates In Counseling Welcomes Large Crowd At Ribbon Cutting Today

Another new Edmonson County business opened it's doors to the public today as Associates In Counseling held their ribbon cutting and open house at their new location in the Main Street Center.

The Brownsville office is the counseling service's third practice location, owned by local resident Erica Simpson along with Luke Hatfield, as they also have locations in Leitchfield and Hardinsburg.

"We're incredibly thankful for our hometown coming out with this huge crowd and supporting us today," said Simpson. "We're so glad to be able to provide our services for our community. To open a business in Edmonson County and to be able to bring jobs here, we just couldn't be happier."

Her business partner, Luke Hatfield, was also happy with the turnout. "We've had a great crowd here today," he said. "We're excited to start here and make a presence here in the county, making a difference with our services and ways we can affect people positively."

The practice provides counseling services to adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families who are in need. A statement from their office said, "Everyone needs a helping hand from time to time. Counseling should be a safe place for you to reach your goals. We provide services in a confidential, comfortable setting. Our office is dedicated to helping each client reach their goals."
