Local Eagle Scout Candidate Leads Project Edmonson Voice Report: The Edmonson County Lions have received a much-needed restoration of their picnic tables under the shelter at the fairgrounds, thanks to the leadership of a local Eagle Scout candidate and his fellow scouts. Edmonson County Boy Scout Troop 597, Eagle Scout Candidate Jason Willis decided for his Eagle Scout Project, he wanted to do something for the Edmonson County Lions Club for their support of the scouting program, which was to refurbish the picnic tables. During the project, the picnic tables received new pressure treated wood, nuts and bolts, and the metal frames received a fresh coat of rust resistant paint.
