ECMS Students Attend SCK Launch Experience

ECMS students get an up-close view of a BG Police Dept. motorcycle at SCK Launch Experience.

Eighth grade students at Edmonson County Middle School attended the SCK Launch Experience on Thursday, November 16th, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Over 3,000 students throughout the region were also present for this event. This was the first year that the school was invited to take part in this hands-on career experience. Students were able to interact with everything from police dogs to robots. They also received many promotional items from the businesses that were represented.

USBank was very pleased to provide a $10,000 grant to help underwrite this year’s SCK Launch Experience and request specifically that Edmonson County also be invited along with other area school districts. Special thanks to all EC educators committed to introducing these young people to career opportunities in our area! #WeAreEC
