Edmonson Voice Staff Report:
Edmonson County's most popular local charity, Santa's Helping Hands, has found yet another way to raise more money for the local organization. On Saturday, SSH drew for a brand new Club Car golf cart and named Stephanie Woodcock the winner. More than $15,000 in raffle tickets were sold for the contest and after expenses for the cart, a $9,000 profit was made, all for the organization. "We were able to purchase the cart at a discounted rate since it was for the organization," said board member Mark Wardlow. "It seems like our volunteers keep coming up with creative ways to raise money for our cause. It's just another way we can make a difference for the county." The non-profit organization has already raised nearly $20,000 prior to their annual auction that is scheduled for November, which is their largest fundraising effort of the year.

Being able to have a golf cart here at the new house would be such a blessing. The grandbabies would love it so much. Maybe some day !!
