Darren Doyle, story and photos: Brownsville's newest business celebrated a ribbon cutting with the Edmonson County Chamber of Commerce today as Hartfelt & Associates, a Coldwell Banker Legacy Group affiliate, held their grand opening. Co-owners Jackie Snelling and Phillip Coleman started HartFelt & Associates a couple of months ago to manage property at or near Nolin Lake. Soon after they opened the business, they realized that their hands were tied as the Kentucky Real Estate Commission requires a real estate license to fully use property management. Two months later, they both acquired a real estate license and aligned with Coldwell Banker Legacy Group in Bowling Green. Their business vision includes property management, mainly in Edmonson County, buying and selling property, and setting up and managing short term rentals such as Vacation Rental By Owner or Airbnb. "We want to thank everyone for coming out and showing support for us today," said Coleman. "We put a lot of hard work and prayer into this and we're looking forward to serving this area."
Chamber Board member Maegan Hance offered the Chamber's support for the event. "We say this so often, but it's true: our community grows with every new business in Brownsville and Edmonson County and we're so happy for HartFelt & Associates on their special day," she said. "It was a beautiful day and we're very glad to see this many come out in support." A section of the business is dedicated as the Brownsville Welcome Center with local information available and items on display. The newly opened office is located at 100 Washington Street, Brownsville, KY, 42210.
