Edmonson Voice Staff Report So many Edmonson County families and elderly citizens are in need, and those needs are often magnified around the holidays. Here is a great opportunity to help make the season a bit brighter for someone right here at home. For only $35, you can purchase a Christmas Dinner Angel that will allow a needy family to enjoy their own Christmas Dinner which will consist of turkey, dressing, corn, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls, and pie. The food will be delivered to families just in time for Christmas. Just stop by the Cee Bee Food Store on Main Street in Brownsville, take an angel from the tree, and pay at the register. We all need to stop & think that while we are all with our families and are enjoying a Christmas dinner there are families right here in our county that dont have a Christmas dinner because they cant afford it. How would we feel if we never had anything for a Christmas dinner? We need to pull together & help those in need. We have proved that we all in this small county have pulled together as a community before & have helped those in need.We need to show our Love for our neighbors in our community that we can show our love once more. After all Christmas is about being with our families & showing Love,Peace & goodwill towards our friends & neighbors.I ask that we all please pull together and help those in need. i have helped & will continue to help the needy as long as i am able. Just take a family & help them. The feeling & happiness you feel will be a great blessing. After all Christ & God is love. and that is what Christmas is all about, God bless everyone in our county & have a very Merry Christmas.
