Moriah Peterson, mpeterson@edmonsonvoice.com, story and photos: The annual Back-To-School-Bash took place at the Edmonson County High School on Tuesday evening, July 25th. The event was sponsored by Family Resources, The Youth Service Center, and The Community Education Center. The bash was a free event held in a fun, "80's" theme which drew a record breaking crowd of 687 registered participants. There were 25 vendors giving away free school supplies, gifts, and information about their services offered. Dozens of kids of all ages left with full bags of goodies. Each county school was also represented with a booth manned by each school's administration. “A special thank you to our FFA students for setting up and breaking down everything for this event," said Community Ed Director Lisa Whobery. "We also want to thank the all vendors for coming, and Mr. Hodges, Edmonson County’s High School principal for letting us host the event at the high school."
