The parking lot was full at the new location of Jacob's Home Furnishings Friday evening, November 2nd, for the Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony. Members of the community came out to support the Jacob's family during the ceremony and to celebrate the upcoming grand opening of the new storefront. "We just want to thank the community for letting us expand, we have had support from the community since the very beginning," said owner Jeff Jacob. "We have such loyal customers and I'd say about 90% of the people that walk through our doors are sent to us by one of our customers. I hope our expansion inspires other business owners and locals to invest in our community and county." The grand opening of the new location is Saturday November 3rd and there will be free hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch. Customers can also stop in for a chance to win a new living room suite until closing at 5pm. "We are so thrilled to have an Edmonson County business flourish into a bigger storefront," said Chamber Director Rhonda Clemmons. "Jacob's Home Furnishings is certainly an asset to the community and allows everyone to shop right here at home."
