It was an exciting evening at South Edmonson Elementary last night as over 100 contestants competed for their chance to be crowned in the winner's circle at the second EC Fair Beauty Pageant Event of 2014. Lovely young ladies from all over the state donned their evening gowns and amazed the judges all night long. Event coordinator Amanda Lich was well pleased with the entire two-day event. Lich said in a statement via the Pageant Facebook page,  "It takes a special kind of girl to have the confidence to enter a beauty pageant. We are so grateful to the 100+ girls who participated in the Edmonson County Fair Pageants this year. Your entry fee and gate admission to the pageants will help the Edmonson County Lion's Club fulfill their mission through good works in our community. Whether you went home with or without a trophy, you are a winner in our book!"  The winners in each category are listed below:

Miss Edmonson County Fair - Adrienne Poole, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Poole of Brandonburg

Miss Edmonson County - Jhonna Leanne Basil, daughter of Tim and Lisa Basil of Brownsville

1st Runner Up - Katie Bouchard, daughter of Mike and Amy Bouchard Owensboro

2nd Runner Up - Madison Irwin, daughter of TL and Jill Irwin of Harned

3rd Runner Up - Molly Jo Morgan, daughter of Todd and Amy Morgan of Burkesville
