As summer break is rapidly winding down and coming to an end, we would like to start off by saying that we are so thankful to everyone who came out and had fun with us during our summer programming. The Library is so appreciative of all the hard work from our volunteers and vendors! We also want to extend an extra special ‘Thank You’ to our sponsor who funded both the Youth and Adult Summer Reading Log Grand Prizes: Saint John’s Thrift Store! To our friends at Saint John’s, Thank You so much for your generosity and for all you do for our community!


Don’t forget to have your kids fill up their Youth Summer Reading Logs. They are due back to us by August 1st and each child will receive a free color changing cup with their first entry, however every entry after will be added to our drawing for one of the grand prizes!


Adults, don’t feel left out! Come out to the Library to pick up your Adult Summer Reading Bingo Sheet and Log! They became available on July 1st and will be due back to us on September, 2nd. Similar to the Youth Summer Reading logs, with the adult’s first complete entry they will receive a free ECPL Camping Mug, but every entry after will be added into a drawing for one of the grand prizes!


We also want to mention that there will be several fun and exciting new programs in the coming months! It is not too late to sign up for the Youth Entrepreneur Fair, but registration will close this weekend on July 29th! Also, The Science Guys will be coming on August 1st so please make sure you register for that event since there is limited space! You can find information on these new programs through our website, Facebook, and Instagram. We hope everyone will be on the lookout for them, and we are so excited to bring more fun programs and surprises to the Library for our community. So, be on the lookout in the following weeks and use our google doc forms which we have linked to reserve your place at each event.
