Edmonson Voice Staff Report: Ronald Scott Lindsey has recently been appointed to represent Edmonson County on the Board of Directors of LifeSkills, Inc., according to a statement from LifeSkills. A resident of the Chalybeate community, he is currently employed by Genesis Health Care in Edmonson County as the Senior Admissions Director. Scott is no stranger to Edmonson County communities as he's a football broadcaster for ECHS on EdmonsonVoice.com as a member of their WildcatsLive sports crew. He also serves as public address announcer for Edmonson County Wildcats and Lady Cats basketball. In addition, he serves as a member of the Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge, is a member of the Alzheimer’s Walk, and Leadership Edmonson County. Scott is also an umpire for Edmonson County Parks & Recreation Center. “I have personally seen many instances of the great work that LifeSkills does, not only in our area, but others," said Lindsey. "They are a great support to people in need. When I saw that there was an opening for Edmonson County, I got really excited at the possibility of being able to work with these great folks. I hope to be an asset to the Board and represent my county in the respectable manner that it deserves.” Scott is also a member of the local humane society, PAWS.
