Local 5th Grader Named 2018 Petite Junior Miss US

​Kennedy Grace Webb, daughter of Joey and Dee Dee Webb of Brownsville, competed in the Amerifest Nationals preteen pageant on Saturday, July 28th at the Sevierville Convention Center in Sevierville, TN. She was  the winner of her division at Amerifest Nationals and crowned Petite Junior Miss US. She also received the National TV Talent award for performing a mock television commercial before a live audience.

Kennedy qualified for the national pageant by capturing the state title of 2017 Mini Junior Miss KY in Lexington, KY in November and qualified for state by winning Most Photogenic at the Cow Days Festival in Greensburg, KY.

​Kennedy is 10 years old and will be in the 5th grade at the Edmonson Co. 5th/6th Center. The Webbs would like to thank all the friends and family that have supported Kennedy throughout her year competing at the state and national level. Kennedy wishes to tell everyone thank you for all the kind words of encouragement. She also would like to thank the many sponsors that helped her with expenses to the state Kentucky Festivals Pageant.
