Local 5th Grader Wins State Gymnast Title

A local Edmonson County 5th grader is now a state champion. Abbey Hughes, age 10, and a student at the EC 5/6 center won the 2017 AAU State Gymnastics Competition, level 1, age 10 this past weekend in Mount Sterling, KY. She is a member of the Starz Elite Performance Academy in Bowling Green. 

She's the daughter of Rick and Leticia Hughes from the Pig community.
