Local Sixth Grader Named 2017 Miss Pre-Teen SOKY Fair Pageant Winner

Mia Cris Holland was crowned winner of the 2017 Miss Pre-Teen SOKY Fair pageant this past Saturday in Bowling Green, KY.

She will represent Bowling Green and Warren County as Miss Pre-Teen SOKY Fair at the 2017 Kentucky Association of Fairs and Horse Shows State County Fair Pre-Teen Pageant.  The pageant will take place on October 13th and 14th in Louisville, KY.

She said she's thankful for everyone who has encouraged and supported her during this journey. 

"I am so blessed to be named the 2017 Miss Pre-Teen SOKY Fair, I want to thank everyone who has supported me this year and I will strive to represent my community of Chalybeate along with Bowling Green and Warren County this fall at the state pageant.  Dreams really do come true," she said.

Mia Cris is the 11 year-old daughter of Jay and Alison Holland of Chalybeate and the granddaughter of Bro. Jerry and Marilyn Patton of Brownsville.  She is in the sixth grade at the Edmonson County 5th/6th center.
