The latest physical therapy facility celebrated their ceremonial opening Friday afternoon in Brownsville as McReynolds Physical Therapy hosted the community for their ribbon cutting. McReynolds Physical Therapy, located at 1430 S Main St., Suite 1, Brownsville, (the former adult day cay center) provides comprehensive, high quality, and individualized rehabilitation services. The facility provides physical therapy following orthopedic surgeries, strokes, and also offers treatments for many conditions including: neck and back pain, joint pain, TMJ, vertigo, de-conditioning and weakness, sports and work injuries, balance and fall prevention, and headaches/migraines. Dr. Lauren McReynolds, who received both her undergraduate degree in chemistry and doctorate of physical therapy at Western Kentucky University, owns and runs the facility. She is a graduate of ECHS, where she was a softball standout and was inducted into the KY Softball Hall of Fame. "We look forward to providing high quality, individualized care for the people of Edmonson County," said Dr. McReynolds. "We're very excited and I'm so proud to have the opportunity to be able to to serve the same community where I grew up." Chamber Director Rhonda Clemmons discussed the event. "We are honored to welcome Dr. Lauren and her new facility to Brownsville," said Clemmons. "This will bring another option for therapy here in Edmonson County. We are so excited for this business to have opened their doors here and we wish nothing but the best for Lauren and her family." Hours for McReynolds Physical Therapy are from 7am-5pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays and evenings by appointment-only. Patients can call 270-597-2100 for an appointment.
