Mike And Joan Blanton To Celebrate 50th Anniversary

​Mike and Joan Blanton will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary on November 18, 2016.  They will be treated to a special dinner by their children and grandchildren at Patti’s 1880’s Settlement in Grand Rivers, Kentucky.

They were married November 18, 1966 in Edmonson County, Kentucky, by the Rev. Willie Doyle.

Mike is the son of Thelma and late Elmer Blanton.  Joan is the daughter of the late Paul and Josie Skaggs. 

They have three children, Michelle McCoy and her husband, Grant; Melissa Meinhardt and her husband, Billy; and Paul Blanton, all of the Chalybeate community in Edmonson County, Kentucky.

They have four grandchildren, Hilary Meredith and her husband, Austin; Cody Meinhardt; Samantha McCoy and Brady McCoy.  They have one great-grandson, Kaynon Meredith.
