Next Fiscal Court Meeting To Be Held At Night

In an effort to accommodate Edmonson County residents that aren't able to attend fiscal court meetings during the regular times, which are the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 9am, Judge Wil Cannon has announced that the next meeting will be held on Monday evening, January 25th at 6pm, upstairs in the Edmonson County Courthouse.

Judge Cannon and all six magistrates encourage everyone to attend.

The vast majority of persons can not take off work to attend morning Fiscal Court meetings. To do so, would force many to miss a day of work, or at least a half day, and they cannot afford to do this.
Most Fiscal Courts of other counties meet in the evenings.
I believe we should have at least one DAY meeting and one NIGHT meeting per month. A lot can happen in a month, and anyone interested needs the opportunity to address Fiscal Court, without fear of loosing income or even their job.

Bi-yearly evening meetings IS a GOOD start !

I look forward to seeing MANY citizens there !!
