Lake conditions are changing fast. Temperatures are in the high 50's to 60 degrees. Elevation is about 7 feet below summer pool and falling very fast. It's time to get those cold water crankbaits out.
Crawfish are a food source for bass with the water falling. Rocky banks that are near deep water is a good place to find the fish. Rip rap also holds fish in the late fall and winter.
Ten feet appears to be a good depth to find active bass. Balsa baits such as the Rapala DT series and Shad Rap are good choices. A model 6A Bomber has been good for years. A Wiggle Wart or Brad's Wriggler has been very reliable.
Wear your PFD and be aware of hypothermia when on the water!
