by Terry Watts:
The lake is near pool, clear and in the mid to lower 80's.  Fishing activity continues to center around the 15 foot depth.  Bass are taking jigs and plastics off step banks near deep water.  Green pumpkin has been a good flavor choice.

Crappie have been on deep brush along mud banks and eating tube jigs and minnows.

Catfish are biting crawlers, shad, livers and prepared baits.  Low light periods are best.  Trolling has been best for white bass.  This time of the year, finding schools of shad near points may lead to success.
