Bass fishing has been good this week. The fish are in post spawn and moving to their summer homes. Carolina rigs are a good technique to use. A 3/4 ounce weight is good for depths to 15 feet. Braid with a fluorocarbon leader is a good choice. Keep bait choices to your confidence baits and color choices to your confidence colors. Points are a good for finding post spawn bass.
Bluegill fishing has been good using wax worms on a popeye jig under a float. White bass fishing is improving. Look for the bait to find the white bass. Crappie are moving to deep brush where they will remain for the summer. A few walleye are being caught on live bait rigs off gravel points.
The lake is clear, at pool and in the low 80's.
Wear your PFD and take the family fishing!
