On May 27, 2016 the Parks and Recreation department will kickoff the first of five live concerts planned at Chalybeate Park for this summer. We will feature a variety of music including rock, country, gospel, bluegrass, and end the summer with a 50's & 60's night in September. The camps are designed for individuals ages 8 – 14 and will be limited to the first 30 to register and pay. The registration fee is $10 per session. Please contact Parks and Rec for more information at 270-597-9103 and leave a message. Freedom Festival The Freedom Festival will be held at Chalybeate Park on June 24, 2016. This event will feature a community pride day where members of the community can meet and greet emergency service workers, law enforcement, and other agencies in the county that provide vital resources to our communities. There will also be games, music, youth baseball and softball awards night, and a fireworks show to cap off the night. Booth rentals will also be available for $25 per 10’ X 10’ space.
