Ribbon Cutting At Jacob's Home Furnishings Sat, Dec 5th

The Edmonson County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce there will be a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Saturday, December 5 at 11 am for Jacob's Home Furnishings at 3981 Hwy. 259 N. Brownsville, KY. Friends, family, Chamber Members, old customers and new customers are welcomed to attend.

Many of you have known them over the years as Jacob's Log Furniture. On January 29 of this year, they had a fire that left them to make several tough decisions. Owner, Jeff Jacobs stated "We sat down that night and decided to rebuild. This business was my passion, it is what I do" stated Jacobs.

"The new structure is beautiful" stated Rhonda Clemmons, Director for the Chamber of Commerce. The exterior of the building closely mirrors the historic Lindseyville post office building across the street which compliments the community. "The items inside the building are as beautiful as the exterior of the building" stated Clemmons.

For over 13 years, they have sold log furniture to locals, and lake goers and even celebrities on the Outdoor Channel. They can proudly say only two pieces of furniture have ever been returned due to defect out of thousands of orders. Quality has been their biggest concern from the beginning.

After months of weekends and late nights, they opened their doors a few months ago. Their goal with the new venture "Jacob's Home Furnishings", is to offer their brand along with all types of home furnishing products and home decor. They offer quality name brand upholstered furniture, bedding, and simply put a number of unique home furnishing pieces in their store.
