SEES Students Experience Live Kangaroo, Python, Parrot, and More During Animal Program Today12/12/2016 This morning "ZOODLES" (an Animal Education Program) hopped into South Edmonson Elementary School to provide them with a free, hands-on presentation on wildlife and exotic animals. According to school counselor Penny Tuttle, the company brought a Solomon Island Eclectus Parrot that flew around the gymnasium, an Indonesian Blue Tongue Skink, a Ball Python that slithered on the floor, a Bearded Dragon, and a 5-month-old Red Kangaroo Joey. Mrs. Penny said the Zoodles staff talked with students about these animals' habitats, diets, and survival strategies. Some students took advantage of a photo op and an one-on-one animal encounter. Mrs. Penny also got in on the fun by feeding the Joey her noon-time bottle.
