SOKY Film Commission Encouraging Viewers To Watch Film Made In Barren/Hart Co. This Sunday1/10/2018 If you missed the premier of Runaway Romance on UP tv January 7, don’t despair. The film will run again on Sunday, January 14, at 4 pm central time. You won’t want to miss the family-friendly movie that was filmed in southern Kentucky a few months ago, according to the SOKY Film Commission. SOKYFC also said that not only does Runaway Romance present Kentucky in a positive light, the camera shots capture the breathtaking beauty of our area. "You will probably want to view it several times to enjoy the familiar settings and to see if you can identify any of the locals who were in the movie," they said. Rhonda Clemmons, who is Edmonson County's representative for the commission said that while this film was filmed in Hart & Barren Counties, it needed regional viewer support. "We want these program channels to keep buying and showing films made in South Central Kentucky, and the viewing numbers matter," she said. "We we want to encourage our Edmonson viewers to watch or DVR this film, because we will certainly want our neighboring counties watching the film made in Edmonson County when it is shown in a few months." The film commission asks everyone to tune in Sunday, relay this information to all your friends, and be sure to set your DVRs so you can enjoy the movie over and over. Local providers of UP tv are: Direct TV 338, AT&T 369/1369, DISH 188, TWC 124, SCRTC 106. For more information, check out the Runaway Romance Facebook page.
