South Edmonson Principal Gives Updates On Upcoming School Year, Events & Announcements

​Parents,
Can you believe that summer is almost over?  I hope that everyone has had a fun and safe break.  We hope you  are ready to come back to school and have a great year.   We are very excited about this upcoming year additionally we are ready to SEES your kiddos on August 2nd.  We also have some new teachers and staff that are absolutely fabulous I want to introduce to you.  Please welcome:  Tracy Morris - special education teacher, Curriculum Coordinator Taylor Renfro, Summer Rich - kindergarten teacher, Kendra Cline - 2nd grade teacher, Jessica VanMeter - 2nd grade teacher, Keela Skaggs - 3rd grade teacher, Melissa Grider - special needs aide.

Back to School Bash - July 25th at 5:30 - 7:00
South Edmonson Open House July 27:   Kinder 5:30-6:30;  Grades 1-4 6:30-7:30
First day for students is August 2nd  
 
We want opening day to be exciting for the students and as smooth for parents as possible.  Front doors will open at 7:20 and instruction begins at 7:50.  We know there will be an abundance of vehicles so please be patient,  watch for parents and students crossing the parking lots.   We also have to keep the bus parking lot open for busses, so there will be no parking in the bus parking lot until all busses have departed. 
Again we are very excited to see everyone and making this the best year at South yet.  See you at open house.

• Back to School Bash -   July 25th
• Open House - July 27th,  Kinder - 5:30 -6:30, 1st - 4th -  6:30 - 7:30
• Fundraiser - It’s hot and we can help quench your thirst!  We will be selling Cokes this year for our school wide fundraiser.  We will be starting this within the first two weeks of school.  Please help and be a part of this fundraiser.
• First day of school will be on August 2nd.   Doors open at 7:20.  There will be no before school care opening day.  Instruction starts at 7:50. 
• There will be a “Boo Hoo” breakfast for kindergarten PARENTS.
